OUR PROCESS
PHASE 1: Social Campaign Structure Optimization
The existing Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns were analyzed and found to have high ad frequency, with returning customers repeatedly seeing the same ads, which led to wasted spend and reduced performance. To address this, previous customers and warm audiences were excluded from the top-of-funnel campaigns, allowing the focus to shift toward acquiring new leads and families in the New York market. Campaign targeting and funnel steps were adjusted to create clear segmentation between new and returning visitors. This optimization resulted in a significant drop in frequency—from 4.3 to 1.2—on new customer campaigns, reducing overall ad fatigue and boosting reach and engagement with untapped prospects. This foundational work set the stage for subsequent paid and organic social strategies, ensuring that high-performing ads effectively reached fresh local audiences.
PHASE 2: Redesigning Product Pages to Lower CPMs and Boost Conversions
Following the reduction in ad frequency during Phase 1, the team faced a new challenge: soaring CPMs (cost per thousand impressions) that increased from $60 to $197 monthly between September and December. This surge was tied not only to ad frequency but also to a very low website conversion rate of just 1.2%. To combat this, we collaborated with our Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) experts to completely redesign AgelessLX’s product pages. The redesign prioritized a clean, seamless user experience and interface, featuring a high-impact hero section optimized for conversions. Key elements included streamlined navigation and compelling calls to action that guided visitors smoothly toward making a purchase. Additionally, we implemented strategic upsells to boost order value, including a pre-purchase upsell triggered when an item is added to the cart and two post-purchase upsells aimed at increasing the average order size. This comprehensive redesign was designed to significantly improve conversion rates, reduce CPMs, and enhance overall ad spend efficiency.

We tested various ad concepts including feature-focused ads highlighting key benefits, lifestyle imagery showcasing real users, and testimonial-driven creatives that built trust. The feature point ads quickly outperformed all others, delivering higher engagement and conversion rates. Leveraging these winning creative assets, we aggressively scaled ad spend to over $50,000 per month.
